Premiere: Perseus Traxx – How The Mighty Fell (Timothy J. Fairplay Remix)

Following up to the posthumous release of late acid don Andreas Gehm ‘Cosmic Interrail Vol.2‘, Glasgow-based label Schrödinger’s Box are back with a strong new statement, ‘How The Mighty Fell‘, this time courtesy of the prolific British producer, 303 maven and Bunker affiliate Nigel Rogers under his Perseus Traxx alias – here found engineering a shape-shifting mix of esoteric machine funk and complex, hare-and-hounds like rhythmic experiments to better blur the lines.

Chuted on the flip on remix duty, the one and only Timothy J. Fairplay steps up with a propulsive and muscular New Beat’ish heater that’s sure to bring the dance floor to a rolling boil without further ado. Snares whipping and synths blazing, he flexes out the catchy keyboard riffs and acid drippin’ post-Italo drives for a non-stop epic golf cart ride across crater-studded moonscapes. SpaceX, Branson clients and undercover aliens can rejoice, thanks to Fairplay the unbridgeable distance between Neptune and our planet suddenly feels laughably short. Biggun.

How The Mighty Fell is released via Schrödinger’s Box on 17th June, pre-order a copy from Bandcamp. Video directed by video by Georgina Penstkart.
