Following three albums and a string of extended players for Avian, SHXCXCHCXSH launched their own label Rösten in 2017 with the release of a two-part 12″s series offering two slabs of suitably abstract techno. Kicking off 2018 with maximum impact, Rösten are set to unleash a hypnotic extended player from one half of the Swedish duo named SSTROM.
With only one release to date, the highly acclaimed ‘Fyren‘ EP on Semantica, ‘Vitriol’ EP is a carefully crafted amalgamation of dark, moody and atmospheric techno. Our pick “Ockra” is by far our favourite cut from the release, offering a low slung four/four kick, white noise and a spine tingling synth line. File alongside Rrose and Function.
Vitriol is scheduled for release 31st January 2018, order a copy from Bandcamp.
