Over the last couple of years Palms Trax, real name Jay Donaldson, has rapidly grown into one of the most intriguing and talented house producers out there. Displaying a savvy mix of lush synth euphonies and fast-moving hybrid grooves like no one else, the Berlin transplant keeps filling us with wonder with every release, be it on Lobster Theremin or Dekmantel.
After striding across some of the biggest stages including Panorama Bar sooner this year and before playing Fabric and Dekmantel festival later in July, the Bristolian producer – who participated in RBMA’s 2014 Tokyo session – made a detour by Barcelona to grace the RBMA stage at SonarDôme with a solid set of fresh, pulsating house content that only he knows.
