Succeeding his ‘Goliath‘ EP in January 2024, Baku-born now Prague-based misfit Täino returns with the six-track ‘The Rain‘ EP.
As part of this release, Täino weaves a consortium of dubbed-out braindance, mellifluous house, downtempo oddities and kosmische soundscapes with four remixes operated by Prague-based maverick Elektrabel, Oleeva’s affiliate Smeti and Tbilisi-born producer Ninshū.
Our pick for the premiere is Elektrabel‘s interpretation of ‘Plantar‘ produced by Täino. As it weaves sub-filtered kickdrums, steamy hi-hats, tenebrous earthquakes and sluggish soundscapes, this 92 BPM chugger is the absolute fit for entering the void while throwing enkindling incantations.
