Premiere: Tee Mango – Break Of Dawn

Boss of the music-devoted streetwear outlet Millionhands, Tom Mangan also happens to produce music under the moniker of Tee Mango. With already eight records under his belt – all released through the pipes of the textile brand’s eponymous music branch, Mangan eventually steps up with his debut long-player ‘Imperfections Vol. 1‘, scheduled for release on September 26th.

Presented as a “celebration of pleasantly discordant musical mistakes and loose sample-laden coincidences“, this first iteration in a spanking new series of planned releases gives full vent to free-jazz-indebted jams, sheer Chicago-flavoured house delicacies and ever smooth-flowing grooves.

Today we’re glad to present ‘Break Of Dawn‘, a fetchy downtempo hip-swayer that you may have heard in Studio Barnhus honcho Axel Boman’s sets all over the summer. Accordingly to its title, the cut gives off a precious house-y fragrance ideal for afters sunrise moments, flexing its syncopated swing over mild synthlines, luscious vocals and filtered layers in all finesse.

Imperfections Vol. 1 is released via Millionhands on September 26th, pre-order a vinyl copy from Bandcamp.
