Premiere: Toxido Mask – Nebula

Following the sixth volume in 2021, French imprint Accents Records lineup the seventh edition of their monumental 27 track various artists compilation in April, venturing down a complex vortex of experimental electronics bolstered with deep techno tendencies from an array of simmering international artists.

Spanning the course of 2 hours and 30 minutes, the compilation delivers multiple swathes of leftfield outer sonics, ranging from blissful downtempo from Ópalo and Moon Patrol via lysergic technoid experimentations from Doctrina Natura, Luca Sanna, Atomic Moog and Pattrn. There’s plenty of far reaching sounds to be enraptured by – even for the most discerning of listeners.

Today, we are excited to premiere ‘Nebula‘ by Toxido Mask, the alias of Berlin-based producer Julia Lipniewicz, who co-runs the Catharsis event series in Berlin. Her contribution is a prime example of sound design. Sounding more akin to deep space exploration, ‘Nebula’ is animated with a sub-heavy pulsation, creating a dense aura of multi-layered frequencies. Fans of Lucy’s ‘mas‘ from ‘Wordplay For Working Bees (2012) take note.

‘ACCENTVA007’ is scheduled for release on 3 April via Accents Records. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
