Following the 15 Year Anniversary reissue of Monolake’s inimitable debut album ‘Hongkong‘ last year through Field Recordings, German producer Robert Henke returns as Monolake in September with his twelfth album ‘Studio‘.
Consisting of 10 tracks, ‘Studio‘ deploys a swathe of electronic signatures spanning electro, techno and IDM. Henke’s 30-year production experience is in full effect throughout the album, incorporating hardware synthesisers and effects, resulting in a pertinent body of electronica that feels both new and old. Album highlights include ‘Cute Little Aliens‘, ‘Global Transport‘, ‘Prime Lundy‘ and ‘Eclipse‘.
