Samo DJ plays Wilde Renate alongside Echocord takeover with Luke Hess and Deadbeat

Wilde Renate go deeper than deep on Saturday 9 February for Liquid, featuring an all-star lineup consisting of Samo DJ, Luke Hess, Deadbeat, Lucretio and Echocord label boss Kenneth Christiansen.

First up is the Echocord label showcase in the Black Room. Danish producer Kenneth Christiansen set up this label with Mikkel Metal in 2002, and has since become a dub techno institution. The label is said to be inspired from the Hard Wax offerings, such as Basic Channel, Chain Reaction and the DIN label. No doubt Luke Hess and Deadbeat will envelope the Black Room into a hazy atmosphere of deep bass and sub-aquatic electronics.

Upstairs the Green Room gets more house-oriented, accompanied with some rougher beats from Italian producer Lucretio, one half of The Analogue Cops, and Sagats with in-house DJ Tobias Gullberg delivering the goods. Next door in the Red Room, Samo DJ takes control of the floor injecting some oddball experimental electronics ranging from downtempo to synth-pop, breaks and the unknown.
