Solstice Festival 2020

Due to the current developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is with heavy heart to inform you that Solstice Festival 2020 has been cancelled.

Balancing hedonistic club music, conceptual art and practised sustainability, Solstice Festival makes for one of the most exciting electronic music festivals to have emerged in recent years.

Taking place between 18-20 June 2020, Solstice will showcase a potent lineup of both international behemoths and homegrown talents, upon a 500 metre-high ski-resort named Ruka, in northern Finland, for a truly breathtaking panorama.

Located 9-hours away from Helsinki by car and set within the boundaries of the Arctic Circle, Solstice isn’t your traditional festival experience.

In this uniquely immersive, sense-awakening landscape, attendees are invited to celebrate the Northern Hemisphere’s Midnight Sun – a natural phenomenon in which the sun never fully sets – soundtracked by the likes of Ben UFO, Vladimir Ivkovic, Roza Terenzi, DJ Lifegoals (live), Juho Kusti, Katerina and Skooge Records (this is just the first wave, more names to be announced).

The international lineup is supplemented by a host of already established Finns, who support the trend of fast and heavy techno, EBM, post-punk and electro, as well as an intriguing array of site-specific art installations as respite for tired and weary ravers.

Flights are available to local airport Kuusamo via Finnair and shuttle buses will operate from Helsinki to Ruka. There are four different types of accommodation available ranging from group cabins, apartments, luxury villas and hotel rooms.
