Ahead of the release of Derelicht‘s debut 3 track EP, featuring new music from Thermalbear, Killawatt and The Soft, we are proud to premiere the music video for The Soft’s new track ‘Icaria‘ directed by William Glass, the third member of the band.

Derelicht’s debut EP steers clear of any preconceived musical formulae, not catering directly for an insurgent techno or house crowd but for the lover of a more abstract aesthetic. To accompany the vinyl only release Derelicht have also produced a Visual EP, so that each track will have its own unique video.
The Soft recorded ‘Icaria‘ in London using both live samples and hardware. The track focuses on the more hypnotic aspects of electronic and dance music, and draws influence from Krautrock and Minimalism as well as contemporary electronic artists such as Walls, Jon Hopkins and The Field.
