Following our 12 Year Anniversary, Inverted Audio return to ÆDEN on Friday 5 November to host a night of toughened techno and metallic breaks featuring some of Berlin’s most exciting producers and DJ’s; Rhyw, Gramrcy, Golden Medusa and DJ Heartbreak.

When it comes to turning the page on the sounds of techno, Alex Tsiridis aka Rhyw knows when to live and let live — he’s made his mark on techno as one half of Cassegrain, and now co-runs the Fever AM imprint with the brilliant Mor Elian. As an artist he is not concerned with trendiness, hype or following the norm and bucks the trend with his solo works as Rhyw. Expect some raw, freestyle mixing and plenty of experimental techno and bass pressure.

Gramrcy‘s productions draw influence from the UK’s rich rave history, whilst also pushing a resolutely forward-facing sound. With previous releases on Ancient Monarchy and FTD – Gramrcy has established an anything-goes approach to music-making and his DJ sets bring together a fluid and stylistically diverse selection that skilfully weaves between genres and eras.

Golden Medusa is the alias of queer Berlin-based selector Lara Golz, part of the esteemed Leisure System collective and radio host on Berlin’s Refuge Worldwide. Golden Medusa is acclaimed for her eclectic, experimental and dancefloor oriented mix of techno, electro, bass and breakbeats.

Finally rounding things up is our very own DJ Heartbreak – an obsessive record digger equally adept at playing tops off as he is playing Autechre b-sides to a crowd of 5 with the lights off. Often genre flipping between acid bangers, Detroit house, tricksy techno or knackered Sheffield bleeps, you can expect an abundance of mind-melting tracks that no one’s ever heard of.
