VENT Launches London Event Series With Patricia (Opal Tapes) At Birthdays, Dalston

VENT is a Cairo-based venue and collective of musicians who are now expanding their influence by launching a series of events in London. On Friday 28th March, VENT celebrate their first event with Patricia of Opal Tapes for his debut London performance at Birthdays, Dalston .

Patricia makes incredibly dark and bleak house music, the sort of sounds you might expect to hear in a futuristic rundown shot of Pittsburgh in 2030. The music is somber, but in a way that moves. In 2013 Patricia released his debut “Body Issues” digital LP via Opal Tapes. We recommend checking out the acid tinged sounds of “Josephine, feet shuffling “Melting” or the similarly inflected “Four Fingered”.

We are also proud to announce that VENT and Inverted Audio are working together as part of our partner scheme, so expect more news and quality events to come .
