Cosmic Roots share 2021 after movie shot by Dhanesh Jayaselan

After months of anticipation, Cosmic Roots have published a short film documenting the third edition of the North Norfolk music and arts festival directed by Berlin-based film producer Dhanesh Jayaselan.

Having been forced to reschedule due to the pandemic, 2021 was particularly important to document. Shot with a Super 8 film camera, Jayaselan’s film portrays an intimate patchwork of memories and impressions that transports attendees back into that unique sun-drenched weekend of unhinged hedonism, seamlessly capturing the raw emotion and energies that went into the festival.

Additionally, Jayaselan’s film commemorates the final edition of Cosmic Roots to take place at The Walled Garden in East Raynham. Announced to the public in February, Cosmic Roots have parted ways with the land owners in order to find a new home for future editions.
