For those of you that copped those pricey tickets to Aphex Twin’s DJ set at Funkhaus in Berlin on 1st November, you can give yourself a pat on the back, knowing full well that your hard earned cash has been invested wisely in bolstering the lineup with the addition of Dopplereffekt, Luke Vibert and drum and bass producer Paradox.
The event breaks a 15 year hiatus since Aphex Twin last performed in Berlin and anticipation levels are at an all time high in the city. Especially considering that pioneering electro-experimentalists Dopplereffekt recently announced the release of their ‘Athanatos‘ EP on Leisure System.
Long time collaborator, experimentalist and fellow Cornishman Luke Vibert joins the lineup too, alongside UK drum and bass producer Paradox, who released a string of 12″s in the mid 1990’s on Renegade Hardware, Total Science’s CIA, Certificate 18 and Reinforced Records.
