The third edition of Bavarian experimental music festival It Isn’t Happening takes place between Wednesday 29th May to Sunday 2nd June in Nuremberg, across various venues in the German city including the former AEG factory, which acts as the heart of the festival.
Headlining It Isn’t Happening Festival 2019 are some of our all time favourites, including sound alchemists Emptyset, Demdike Stare, Gigsta, Group A, Via App and Efdemin, who will also present his midi-controlled Modular Organ System (pictured below), built in 2017 by himself and Konrad Sprenger.
Visitors can expect an array of experimental music presented in a multitude of formats including concerts, performances, workshops and sound installations as well as AV performances and club nights at Werkhalle 61 encircling the fields of contemporary and electronic music plus sprinklings of pop, sound art and improvisation.
Tickets are currently on sale with day passes starting at €28 per person and complete weekend passes priced at €43 per person. Need we say more?
