Since opening in September 2023, Inverted Audio Record Store in South East London has exceeded all of our expectations. It’s no easy feat to open a record shop, but thanks to our loyal customers, record release parties and in-store sessions, we are loving every single moment of running the store.
Based in the heart of Peckham located within Holdrons Arcade – Inverted Audio Record Store is the latest addition to London’s sprawling map of essential go-to record stores. With a footprint of just 53 square feet (3×2 meters), Inverted Audio Record Store is by far the smallest record shop in London.
As we have proved, it’s not the size that matters, it’s the quality of records available and being long-standing experts of underground electronic music, record collectors and music heads can discover a multitude of records spanning the spectrum of electronic music; ambient, breakbeat, deep house, dub techno, experimental, IDM and techno. We also carry cassettes, clothing and previously loved audio equipment – including amplifiers, turntables and boomboxes.
