Lunchmeat announce second wave of artists for 2022

Following their initial announcement in May, Prague’s continuously progressive Lunchmeat Festival unveil the second wave of acts to perform at the 6-day festival and symposium later this month.

Taking place in Prague (26 Sept – 2 Oct), Lunchmeat focus on top-flight A/V experiences, live performances and world premieres. Bolstering their already impressive lineup – Holy Other & Pedro Maia, Lucy & Wanton Witch, Blackhaine, Karenn, Sky H1 & Mika Oki – their second lineup features Pan Daijing, E-Saggila, Sapphire Slows and Lee Gamble, who returns for a DJ set at Ankali alongside SAFA, Emma DJ and cxox (presenting their ‘g0drm2’ live project) and local talent elastix, Kobayashi Maru and Mor Wen b2b liz wiz.

Heavy-weight producer Mumdance makes an appearance and UK bass music legend Kuedo present a unique sonic performance of his most recent album released on Brainfeeder. A world premiere performances from Hüma Utku & Utku Önal’s ‘The Psychologist‘ will also take place.

Akiko Haruna joins in on the live acts offering, whilst the A/V acumen of the festival remains pertinent with Lunchmeat’s Jan Hladil creating an audiovisual performance for celebrated UK bass / techno artist Cocktail Party Effect. An evening of special AI-related AV performances from Acre & Lorem and SPIME:IM will be held at the Archa theatre.

Alongside the live acts, revellers can look forward to deejay sets from Mika Okin and prominent figures of the Bratislava music scene Emma Binder and DJ GÄP, along with Nervous Horizon-released Ehua and the previously announced UIQ lineup at Ankali.

Lunchmeat also welcome back their discourse Symposium with talks from Pan Daijing, Sky H1 & Mika Oki, The Wire’s editor Derek Walmsley on writing about music, plus representatives from Resident Advisor and The Quietus on the subject of international coverage of the Eastern European music scene.
