Maxwell Simons teases second album on Beat Machine Records

Following his debut album in 2022, Milan-based sound designer and SAE Institute alumni Maxwell Simons returns to Beat Machine Records with a preview of his second album ‘TURMA 12.00 AM.‘, due to be released in June 2024.

Delivering a high dose of bustling Baile funk and IDM-infused bass music, ‘WELL 01:00 AM’ blazes Rocinha’s district with a Tamborzão beat, reckless lyrics and stomping frequencies. Leading to an experience of non-stop dancing, spiced up with a timeless remix from Mexican producer Bryan Dálvez – better known as El Irreal Veintiuno.

Our pick from the release is Veintiuno’s remix ‘WELL 01:00 AM‘ – emanating the essence of contemporary carioca funk, hammered with tribal rhythms and infectious Latin percussions.

‘WELL 01:00 AM’ is scheduled for release on 20th September via Beat Machine Records. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
