Today, AD 93 label boss Nic Tasker announces the launch a new record label named Lith Dolina.
Formerly a Boiler Room host, Tasker first launched Whities in 2014, releasing experimental records from an array of producers including Terron, Kowton, Minor Science, Reckonwrong, Quirke, Coby Sey, Giant Swan, Nathan Micay and Neinzer.
Following the Black Lives Matter protests in 2020, Tasker changed the name of the label to AD 93, and has since released music from Bambounou, Dylan Henner, Avalon Emerson and Anunaku & DJ Plead, which we ranked #9 in our Best Extended Players of 2020.
Lith Dolina marks a fresh outlet for the Londoner to release further hybrid strains of electronic music. Its inaugural V/A compilation ‘Brabuhr Q-ih‘ consists of 11 tracks spanning electronica, breakbeat, jungle and IDM from Spanish producer Love Horses, Newcastle-based The Jaffa Kid, Japanese producer Bot1500 and Whylie.
‘Brabuhr Q-ih’ is scheduled for release 12 February via Lith Dolina. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
