Olivia headlines Inverted Audio meets Newtype Rhythms at Chalet Berlin

We are delighted to announce Olivia as our special guest for Inverted Audio meets Newtype Rhythms this Saturday (10 November) at Chalet Berlin.

Between curating and hosting her “We Are Radar” club nights, handling the booking at club Szpitalna 1 and becoming a vaunted presence at Unsound Festival, the Krakow-based DJ and producer has played all over Europe over the past year and we are beyond thrilled to bring her unique blend of electro, industrial and techno to Chalet.

Having a contributed a killer podcast to the Inverted Audio mix series in 2017, her reputation has steadily amplified over the years thanks to her idiosyncratic track selection and excellent technical skills. Through raw and dark techno, liquid acid, deep cosmic reaches, the simplicity of electro and the warmth of house, her sets shine with originality and a strong belief in the sound she delivers.

Olivia draws inspiration from both music and the world around her. From the future shock of Detroit techno (Mad Mike, Jeff Mills, Robert Hood, Juan Atkins, Scan 7), the distinctive Dutch sound (Clone, Creme, Bunker, Viewlexx and Rush Hour) through to the images and ideals of science fiction and technological progression throughout the 70s. The infinity of space, the unfulfilled promises of robot designs and the unexplained mysteries of paranormal phenomena all inform her approach to sound and her search for music.

Ahead of the night, listen back to her IA MIX and read her interview here.
