Pleasure Model lines up ‘Multiplicative Gain’ on 100% Silk

The Bristol producer’s fourth album of techno-futurist transmissions arrives via the California dance imprint 100% Silk in July. Where Antoni Maiovvi’s music under their own name veers towards horror soundtracks and adjacent atmospheres, Pleasure Model favours a bumping, grinding electro throb.

Multiplicative Gain‘, assembled following the producer’s move to the eastern U.S., builds on the foundation of the project’s three previous releases: “stock synths, mechanised rhythm, and boardroom acid, buying low and selling high.”

Think of revelers donning glow in the dark mesh tanks tops, moving and shaking while laser lights cut through the club. These eight tracks conjure narcotic, sci-fi noir discotheque vibes for our present day.

‘Multiplicative Gain’ is scheduled for release 7 July via 100% Silk. Order a cassette from Inverted Audio Store.
