Returning right in time for the festival season after a solid string of records from Elad Magdasi, Barbara Ford and label head Sinfol, Amsterdam’s Anagram are back to cast fresh new light on some of past year’s highlights, bringing the international likes of Serbian DJ Tijana T, Tel-Aviv’s Yotam Avni, US-born Berghain / Ostgut Ton habitué Ryan Elliott and up-and-coming Georgian producer Newa on board for the first volume in a series of serious remix treats.
Lifted from this enticing debut instalment, Ryan Elliott‘s pulsating revamp of Barbara Ford hedonistic drifter ‘Sound Of The Siren‘ takes the original for a trip into the darkest recesses of the club. Never losing sight of the dancefloor and the decisive components to have it quivering in ecstasy, Elliott applies his groovy know-how with optimal results, dishing out the kind of steady-flowing sub roller that’s sure to trigger maximal response from the dancers. Streamlined, to-the-point and unerringly sensual, this is floor weaponry at its most delectably suave.
Coalescence Vol.1 is released via Anagram on 21st May, pre-orer a copy from Juno.
