Two years after the release of his latest EP, ‘Magic Mountain‘ on Ken Oath Records, Aussie producer Furious Frank reemerges this summer on Paper-Cuts with ‘Dream Of Love‘ – a rivetingly lush five-track sonic odyssey spanning across widescreen ambient tech, trancey ethereality and vivid nu-age’y territories seamlessly.
Breaking the EP in, the vaporous ‘606 Trance‘ version of the lead-track beams us straight up to an utopian land of freedom and pure multisensory bliss; shaping a listening experience both relaxing and untiringly functional throughout.
Steady rolling bass waves unfurling as bleached-out pads paint their faded colour in the desert’s sky, this is the kind of tune that’ll have you floating in your own bubble of softness effortlessly, much like that of The KLF and Border Community’s most immersive pieces (it would fit James Holden’s ‘At The Controls‘ like a glove). Stay put, the gates to upper levels of consciousness are about to open.
Dream Of Love is released via Paper-Cuts on 19th July, pre-order a copy from Bandcamp.
