Knekelhuis line up their next release from New York production duo Further Reductions, composed of Katie Rose & Shawn O’Sullivan, featuring eye-popping artwork from Patrick Savile.
‘array‘ EP marks the duo’s return to the Dutch imprint for the first time since their 2017 release ‘Disparate Elements‘. Just like last time, we’re treated to 4 cuts of smoked-out lo-fi electronics augmented by Rose’s vocals, at times dystopian, at times angelic.
We’re delighted to present the title track as our premiere. Perhaps the sunniest slice of the bunch, ‘array‘ channels end of summer energies into a percussion-driven jam that bears callsigns of house and disco. A masterclass in building momentum into a perfect groove, with layers of complexity added with great care to form a heady finale.
