After notable releases from Baroque Sunburst’s co-founder Soreab, DJ Fulltono and Big Hands, Milan-based Beat Machine Records gear up to drop ‘ATACADAO 07.00 AM‘ from Italian producer Maxwell Simons.
Known for his fusion of sound design oddities with IDM and Baile Funk, Maxwell Simons delivers a 2-track release evoking an amalgam of Brazilian townships and Dolomite alpine vistas. As a final touch, Boukan’s regular Tatyana Jane provides a fireball remix of ‘Atacadao‘.
In ‘Atacadão‘, specially selected for our audience, dark Baile Funk rhythms are flared up with bass-heavy kick drums, IDM frequencies, puzzling yet self-possessed whispers and dreamy synth stabs, conducting high-speed shopping sprees in the largest Brazilian hypermarket, Atacadão.
