In the early 2010’s, Cyril Hahn made quite a splash. With viral edits and high-profile radio appearances garnering significant attention, the Swiss-born producer’s star began to rapidly ascend.
In the years since, the Vancouver-based artist has changed course slightly. 2018 saw the producer reassessing his direction musically, unveiling a new pop and ambient-leaning alias, Pool Boy. With the first Pool Boy release landing on Coastal Haze that year, this year the second full-length effort arrived on French imprint Noire & Blanche.
Following the release of the album, Noire & Blanche are releasing a series of remix singles by Gooch, Domenique Dumont and Khotin. For our premiere, Vancouver-based producer Khotin serves up a typically dreamy and laid-back reinterpretation of ‘Moderate Winds’.
‘Pool Boy – Moderate Winds (Khotin Remix)’ is out 5 November and the extended version of ‘All Inclusive’ is scheduled for release 26 November via Noire & Blanche. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
