Hot off the back of his ‘Night Tide‘ EP, R.Kitt inaugurates his freshly minted Orainn imprint with 4 tracks paving the same light-footed energy and melodic overtones.
Our premiere ‘Wait‘ quickly falls under the hammer of pacey 4/4 kick drums with plenty of depth. An enigmatic string loop flowing lightly over the top completes the vibe; it’s a punchy, emotional house/techno banger, slotting right in with the likes of Avalon Emerson.
The second stretch of the track sees the careful addition of sun-licked, jazzy keys elevating the track to higher plains, loosely formed vocal snippets and breezy atmospherics. One for the summer, when the sun is blazing.
