Ten years after their inaugural release, post-Soviet imprint Gost Zvuk prepare to release the 11-tracks effort ‘Phenomenon of Provincial Mentality‘ – courtesy of Siberian techno luminary Roma Zuckerman.

Following numerous releases on Nina Kraviz’s label трип, Krasnoyarsk-born producer Roma Zuckerman presents his sophomore album ‘Phenomenon of Provincial Mentality‘ a series of captivating techno cannonballs, freakish IDM, steady states of minimal melodies intertwined with a fair amount of UFO monologues.

Our pick for the premiere is ‘Waterfalls Pt.2‘ – a frost-bound flume groove controlled by semi-aged clay golems. In the midst of the sleeping land, it’s a dreamlike slumber with perky basslines, oddball percussions and computerized speeches about healing frequencies.

‘Phenomenon of Provincial Mentality’ is scheduled for release on 2nd February via Gost Zvuk Records. Order a vinyl copy from Bandcamp.
