Between releasing on labels including Dettmann’s MDR imprint, Answer Code Request, Happy Skull, Clone Basement Series, Mama Told Ya and his very own imprint SHUT – Ryan James Ford consistently finds ways to maintain his take on future proof, melancholic rave fresh and full of audible splendour.
Spanning 5 tracks, ‘The Fire Keeps Burning‘ EP is brimming with tripped-out dance floor weaponry, surefire to saturate every ounce of bodily sweat. However it’s the final track, ‘Parllyster (92 Mix)‘ that sets our eardrums into overdrive, replete with euphoric (AFX-indebted) synth work, plus suitably Braindance drum patterns, Ford clearly saved the best till last.
