Mount Kimbie line up double album on Warp Records

Five years since the release of their third album proper, Mount Kimbie mark their return to Warp in November with a double album comprising of collaborations and solo productions made over the past 2 years by Dom Maker and Kai Campos.

First up is ‘Die Cuts‘ – inspired by his new life in Los Angeles, Dom Maker delivers 12-tracks spanning hip-hop, R&B and pop, featuring collaborations with Danny Brown, Reggie, Nomi, Keiyaa, Wiki, Liv.e, Kučka and Choker.

Meanwhile, Kai Campos‘ ‘City Planning‘ was produced in London resulting in 11 tracks exploring up-tempo techno and tripped-out club tropes – perhaps encouraged by his recent collaboration with Darren Cunningham aka Actress – resulting in instant admiration for singles ‘Zone 1 (24 Hours)‘ and ‘Quartz‘.

‘MK 3.5: Die Cuts | City Planning’ is scheduled for release 4 November via Warp. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
