Premiere: Smagghe & Cross – MMMMMMM (Samo DJ & Pedrodollar Remix)

To coincide with Huntleys + Palmers 10 year celebrations, the Glasgow based imprint will release ‘MMMMMMM‘ EP from Smagghe & Cross on 25th August 2017. The vinyl and digital release also feature a rare appearance from Matthew Herbert on vocals and a handful of revamps from choice remixers such as Pilooski and Samo DJ & Pedrodollar.

Today we present the Swedish pair’s killer rework of the title-track, exclusively available on the digital version. Opening with spiralling synths in form of headphase to then unfold a deep-carved and textured melody riding along jaunty bass moves and tribal drums, the track makes for a slick Janus-faced pumper. Crunchy outside and gooey inside, a flavourful delicacy of high-NRG deep & dubby house to move your body to.

MMMMMMM EP is scheduled for release via Huntleys + Palmers on 25th August 2017.
