This week’s addition to our sister mix series Newtype Rhythms is a welcome presence for multiple reasons. Firstly, the sounds of Szare have always been lingering in the hearts and minds of the dancefloor faithful; whether it be releases on Horizontal Ground, Field Records or his most recent effort on Mumdance’s imprint Different Circles. The sound of Szare have always been unique from the moment it is absorbed.
Secondly, the Manchester-based producer is set to play at our club night this weekend (10 November) at Chalet Club in Berlin, and we couldn’t think of a more representative preview of what’s to come than this exuberant mix he has delivered to Newtype Rhythms ahead of Saturday nights antics. Szare’s mix starts at around 44 minutes in, with resident Sheepshead setting things up with a melange of bass and techno to boot.
