Saturday 25 March, the third edition of SUBSET takes place at SET Woolwich, presenting an in-house night of live ambient and experimental performances from Avel Mismo, Laila Sakini, Lucia H Chung, Serpente bolstered with club-focussed DJ assaults from Nakamo, MaxQuerade and The Muffin Man.
Hosted at SET Woolwich, a freshly revamped 300 capacity venue and former HMRC vault in South East London, SUBSET is focussed on presenting experimental live electronics and DIY club environment aimed at those that are interested in experimental live-shows with the London’s queer clubbing community. Having previously showcased Bianca Scout, Katiusha, Conrad Pack and Nexcyia, SUBSET have a penchant for the underground.
For the third edition, SUBSET present thought provoking sets from both emerging and established artists including experimental producer Avel Mismo, Modern Love affiliated producer Laila Sakini, Taiwanese experimental artist Lucia H Chung and Portuguese producer Serpente (aka Ondness), who will perform the final live-set. DJ’s include MaxQuerade, The Muffin Man and Nakamo, who both recently played killer sets at the iconic HTBX party. Expect shape shifting live acoustics and high impact club music until 6am.
