Lee Gamble should be no stranger, his album ‘KOCH‘, arguably his most accessible to date was released last year through PAN and was ranked #2 in our Best Albums Of 2014 end of year chart. Messing with techno and musique concrète’s DNA, Gamble built a superb body of left-field and forward-thinking music amongst which the astonishing Motor System reigns supreme.
Moiré’s debut album Shelter, released August 2014 on Werkdiscs was solid throughout. The album didn’t suffer any notable slump in quality all along nine tracks, and also built a strong narrative showing interesting fractions of further possible mutations in its architecture after every listen. Moiré’s approach at melding hypnotic techno with bass should not be underestimated.
