Founded by the late Rob Michell and Steve Beckett after years of managing the FON record shop, alongside record producer Robert Gordon. Warp are responsible to the rise of many legendary figures in the electronic music world such as Aphex Twin, Autechre, Boards of Canada, Broadcast, Clark, Squarepusher and Plaid. The label continues to expand it’s horizons by working closely with artists outside the world of Electronica. Signing experimental acts that are often noticed for pushing musical boundaries.
