Premiere: Christopher Rau – Paradijs

Following on from ‘PINK‘ and ‘RED‘ issued earlier this year, Uncanny Valley return with ‘ORANGE‘ – the third EP out of seven scheduled to celebrate their 50th release milestone. The record, due out for release on September 18, features Berlin-based Swedish maestro Jor-El, Schloss Records co-founder Karima F, Canadian house key player Basic Soul Unit and Smallville mainstay / Dérive boss Christopher Rau.

Premiering through our channels today, Christopher Rau’s ‘Paradijs‘ – as its name very justly suggests – teleports us to a much idyllic realm of breaks-strewn, post-balearic atmospheric opulence. A teeming fauna of feverish drum programming, epic acid warbles, kalimba melodies and sleek, curvy synthlines puts on a party and we’re off for a trippy jaunt across the canopy. Lift off the sad asphalt and concrete-coated strips, and dream away to Rau’s all-inclusive paradise for the senses. LUSH!

ORANGE is released via Uncanny Valley on 18th September, pre-order a copy from Bandcamp. Christopher Rau headlines our second residency night in Berlin at Zur Klappe on Friday 13 September
