Secretsundaze co-founders James Priestley and Giles Smith step up to BBC Radio 1’s iconic Essential Mix series on May 21 and will host a showcase at Glastonbury festival on June 26 with Chaos In The CBD and Shy One.
Launched in 2002 as an intimate Sunday session at 93 Feet East on Brick Lane, Secretsundaze has evolved into a unstoppable fixture in London’s club scene, constantly reinventing themselves as a record label, community music studio and even hosting takeovers at the Southbank Centre and Saatchi Gallery.
Secretsundaze takeover Oval Space on May 14 to host their summer opening party featuring US-based producer Galcher Lustwerk performing live, plus DJ sets from Bianca Lexis, Jonny Rock and Shy One.
June 19, Secretsundaze land in Barcelona to host their annual OFF Sonar showcase at La Terrrazza over looking the Catalan capital soundtracked by Marcellus Pittman, Peach, Lydia Vilas plus Giles Smith and James Priestley.
July 9, Secretsundaze return to the UK to host another day and night party spread across five dance floors encircling Queen’s Yard in Hackney Wick. This will celebrate the long-running open-air dancing tradition that defines Secretsundaze and the line-up will sidestep headliners to instead focus on 15 selectors from across the dance music spectrum, with lengthy sets to stretch into the deepest corners of their collections.
