In 1991, Tresor raised the curtain on what can be considered as an essential benchmark for techno music: the imprint’s first release ‘X-101′ by Mike Banks, Jeff Mills and Robert Hood. To mark their 25 years anniversary Tresor announced the launch of a festival, taking place July 21st to 24th at Tresor and the lower floor of Kraftwerk.
A historic first for Tresor, the festival will feature some of the most established figureheads in techno’s rich history. The line-up features Borderland’s premiere, the project from Juan Atkins and Moritz von Oswald, which’ll perform a mesmerising live set of dub-infused techno.
Detroit representatives Robert Hood and Daniel Bell premiere their new DBX live show and the multi-faceted genius that is Gerald Donald (Drexciya/Dopplerekkeft) will return under his Arpanet alias. Sterac, Helena Hauff, Fumiya Tanaka and DJ Stingray make for some of the festival’s key players.

Taking over on Friday (to name a few) we find harsh 4/4 pacesetter Regis for a special live alongside James Ruskin as O/V/R, techno druid Surgeon, Detroit giant Juan Atkins, dub maestro Donato Dozzy, International Deejay Gigolo founder DJ Hell and Russian producer Dasha Rush.
Going deeper into this techno madness: DJ Deep and Roman Poncet, known for their joint releases on Tresor, will perform on Saturday alongside PAN mainstay Objekt, French producers Zadig and Marcelus – who recently dropped his debut LP ‘Vibrations‘ on the German club’s imprint, will also take part while Northern Electronic’s Acronym and Fumiya Tanaka complete the picture.
