WOS Festival announce first wave of acts: Midori Takada, Djrum, Lee Gamble, Slikback & Weirdcore

Taking place in Northern Spain between 14th to 17th September, WOS Festival x SON Estrella Galicia reveal the first wave of artists to perform at the seventh edition of the avant-garde music festival, including a world premiere of ‘Japan on Film‘ a brand new live show from Japanese ambient composer Midori Takada.

Hosted across multiple spaces in the city of Santiago de Compostela, WOS interlace a razor sharp lineup spanning immersive A/V live shows, conferences and cinema screenings from artists at the pinnacle of their art form.

As part of this year’s edition, Berlin Atonal touch down to present an AV concert from Shackleton & Zimpel joined by Siddartha Belmannu and Pedro Maia named ‘In The Cell Of Dreams‘. Slikback and Weirdcore also collaborate to present ‘VOID‘.

Additional highlights include live sets from Posh Isolation mainstays Croatian Amor and Puce Mary, an A/V show from Loraine James and a live A/V show from Filipino-Australian producer CORIN of her recent album ‘Lux Aeterna‘. Revellers can also look forward to DJ sets from turntable maestro Djrum, UIQ label boss Lee Gamble, local deejay Akazie and Peak Oil affiliated ambient artist Lamin Fofana.

WOS Festival tickets are on sale now, priced €55 (Weekend Pass) and €65 (Long Weekend Pass).
