Premiere: Diego Tierres ‘Solar Winds Part 2’

To date, X-Kalay has cut its own niche through pastel infused dusty grooves. From its excellent debut through Kask ‘Periferia‘ back in its hand stamped white label days, right up to our last premiere with the sun kissed grooves of CoastDream’s ‘Oh La La‘.

Their latest release is proving to be a shift in intent as they bring in Russian maestro Diego Tierres to the roster. The St Petersberg based artist has laid out four thoroughly blown warehouse tracks that kicks sand in the face of PC based tomfoolery for pure hardware escapades.

We’ve teamed up with X-Kalay to run with one of the tracks off the EP with shining highlight ‘Solar Winds Part 2‘. Distorted kicks, space radio tuning to find a signal, harmonic choral acid loops, and sparkling 909 hats – it’s all going on inside here.

Solar Winds is released on 14th July, pre-order a copy from Bandcamp.
