London nightclub Fabric has released monthly compilation albums mixed by popular DJs since November 2001. There are two series that alternate months, entitled fabric and FabricLive.

Fabric100: Craig Richards, Terry Francis & Keith Reilly

Disregarding the obvious numerical milestone, it feels like an appropriate time for the Fabric series to evolve and Fabric 100 marks the perfect bookend to the series, with Craig and Terry returning to finish what they started.

Following on from Nina Kraviz’ frankly barnstorming mix, Joe Seaton’s attention to detail in sequencing and stand out visionary approach has created a mix to last the ages, best suited to those moments when daylight begins to colour the sky like a splash of milk into a strong Americano.

Fabric 91: Nina Kraviz

Fabric close out the year with a techno mix from Nina Kraviz. Following on from last year’s DJ Kicks session, it represents a significant A-to-Z journey with a tour through a vibrant and varied landscape. Featuring archive tracks and unreleased moments from her трип label, breath-taking is not a strong enough word to encapsulate it.

Gerd Janson discusses Fabric 89, the art of DJing and Running Back

London’s world-renowned Fabric appointed Running Back boss Gerd Janson to take controls of the 89th iteration of their acclaimed mix series; an hour-long immersion summoning the likes of Todd Terje, John Talabot, Traumprinz and more… We caught up with him to discuss the making of the mix, DJing and his experience as a label owner.

Fabric 74: Move D

Move D’s Fabric 74 may not go down in the annals of landmark mix CDs with this approach, a category which is often dominated by the likes of Kompakt and DJ Kicks, but it will warm the innards of those who have existed for at least three decades on this planet and satisfy the desires of the fresh wave of pure house lovers alike.
